The Boys & Girls Club and YMCA at the Alfond Youth & Community Center is looking for a full time Creative Arts Teacher to work in the After-School Program and the Summer Enrichment Program.
This position will be responsible for designing, executing, developing, and managing all arts programs and activities for the members within the mission of the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA.
We are proud of our mission and strive to set a great example for our members to follow.
Do you have what it takes? Candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and have instructional experience in various arts media, vocational or industrial arts, hobbies, wood lore, nature lore, and early childhood and camp crafts.
Having excelled, received awards or recognition in the arts would be beneficial.
Must have CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to become certified.
We offer a competitive wages and benefit package that includes free childcare and full membership to the AYCC.
Starting wage will be $15 up to $16.
25 depending on experience.
Candidates must be able to pass an extensive background screen though the State of Maine, Federal Government and Department of Health and Human Services.
