You will work closely with our dentists and insurance companies to navigate the complex insurance billing process.
The job duties of a dental insurance claims biller and specialist may include:
1.
Verify, process patient's dental insurance plans to ensure adequate coverage for proposed initial treatment.
Reviewing dental treatment plans and determining insurance coverage and patient benefits.
2.
Preparing and submitting dental insurance claims to insurance companies.
3.
Verifying patient insurance eligibility and coverage.
4.
Ensuring all necessary documentation and supporting documents are included with the claims.
5.
Following up on outstanding claims and denials with insurance companies.
6.
Resolving any issues or discrepancies with claims, such as missing or incorrect information.
7.
Communicating with dental offices and insurance companies to address any billing inquiries or concerns.
8.
Maintaining accurate records of all insurance claims and payments.
9.
Staying up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations and policies.
10.
Providing support and training to dental office staff on insurance billing procedures.
