Is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process. The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, intervenes and evaluates individual patient care. Also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. This position is for the diversified nurse who enjoys working with acute illness/injury, employment injury, and wellness. Must be able to work independently and efficiently anticipating care needs for a variety of illness. The express care triage nurse must also be proficient in wellness strategies for our well care offerings. Is available to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays. This position requires at least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. Highly developed assessment/triage skill as well as an advanced skill set is also necessary for this working environment. Must be comfortable in a fast paced, unplanned work flow setting and support a positive work environment.
Qualifications/Competencies

Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( ). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency to Maine.

BLS for Healthcare Provider is required within 3 months of hire

ACLS within 6 months of hire preferred

PALS within 6 months of hire preferred

Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
